Visualizations

What are visualizations? Visualizations are a great way to access your unconscious mind, and receive messages from your higher self. You can think of them as productive day dreaming. Visualizations are guided meditations where you are taken on a journey in your mind. You can make them up yourself or you can find lots of them on YouTube, the key is to finding one with a voice you like, that is relaxing, and without add interruptions. I should also mention visualizations are a great way to practice the witness mind, stilling the mind and focusing inwards

Some people will get caught up in the “Am I doing it right?” what am I suppose to be seeing? This is really tricky because you are supposed to have a different experience from everyone else because we are all individuals and have different paths to walk. It’s just another skill you need to practice. For me, visualization are kinda like a dream, I see stories in the mind’s eye, but they are out of focus, scale can be off, I don’t necessarily know what’s going on but for some reason I understand it and it makes sense. It is defiantly not like a crisp clean move. Some people don’t see anything but maybe words or ideas pop into their head. Whatever happens for you, let it come. You just don’t want to force the visualization or over think things. The aim is to not really be thinking and let your unconscious talk to you. If nothing is coming up, sit with that. There is still information you can glean from that. Maybe you are not grounded; maybe there is an emotion that is blocking you that you need to deal with first. Maybe your unconscious is trying to draw attention to another issue that you are trying to avoid. So nothing is not really nothing you just need to think about the nothingness and see what comes up for you. Sounds easy, but very frustration in practice

Here are two visualizations that I have recorded and found to be very useful:

Happy visualizing!
